These trucks will augment our existing fleet and help us to better manage the increasing waste collection demands of our growing population.

According to the Municipal Manager; Lekgetho Mokgatlhe; the new trucks will increase the efficiency of waste collection services, reducing the time taken for collection routes and ensuring timely waste removal. “With the addition of these trucks, we aim to provide more reliable and consistent waste collection services, minimize blockages on sanitation infrastructure due to littering by our community. Refuse collection has not been done according to the schedule due to old fleet that would break down from time to time. We would like to urge the members of the community to work together with the municipality and refrain from dumping waste anywhere.
