Response to an arrest of Municipal Manager

Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality has noted recent report that relate to the arrest of the Municipal Manager by the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigations Unit of South African Police Services from Free State Province on the allegations of Fraud from the previous employer.
The Mayor Cllr. D.M Pitso has noted the said arrest and wish to advise and assure the entire community and businesses that service delivery will not be hampered and the municipality will continue to uphold its mandate, standard of accountability, transparency and its integrity. “On the same breath the municipality further respect the courts process and justice system and will not comment further as the matter is before courts.” Said Mayor Cllr.
