Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality Mayor Kereng Mothoagae has embarked on mayoral imbizos under ‘lets talk session’’ with communities across the 19 wards within Ramotshere Moiloa jurisdiction. The main aim of the sessions was to update the communities on the current projects in the municipality and to share the vision of the fifth administration with them. The Mayor was accompanied by the councilors and the managers from the municipality. She indicated that the municipality has two wings i.e. administration and political.

   In aligning with the “saamwerk,saamtrek” one of the  fifth pillars of the Bokone Bophirima fifth administration, Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality Mayor, Kereng Mothoagae, recently engaged with the sector departments around the Ramotshere Moiloa area to strengthen the relations between the municipality and provincial government.This happened within less than a month since her inauguration as the Mayor of Ramotshere Molioa Local Municipality.

Unqualified audit certificate for Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality

  The recent Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA) audit report handover function which was held in Potchefstroom saw Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality being awarded an unqualified audit certificate by The Auditor-General of South Africa. This achievement comes at the time when South Africa is celebrating 15 years of developmental local government and also approaching the local government elections.  This shows that the words of the Mayor Alfred Thale during his budget speech were not just a talk shop.
